Came through in the clutch!

Our printers were missing, we were opening in a few days, I searched hi and lo to find the UB-E04 network cards for our Epson U220's. Not only did Hillside have them in inventory, but they also worked with me to overnight them as well. I cannot thank them enough.

Upgraded my Older TM-U220B Serial Printer to IP(Ethernet)

I was looking to reuse my existing POS printers on a new POS system that I purchased and I was told by the software company that I could not, because my printers we RS232 serial interface and no one supported that anymore. I found this site www/hec.com and called and was told that I could upgrade my printers. I ordered several Ethernet UB-E04 interfaces. They arrived in just a few days and when I went to install them, there was no connection to my network. I decided to call back Mike at Hillside Electronics for some technical assistance and to my surprise, within 5 minutes they had me up and running. The old printer only needed the dip switches changed to activate the IP(Ethernet) board. My new POS system works great and the printers are not only faster now, they are also networked and connected to my router. Being connected this way allowed me to print to this older printer through a wireless connection. These guys saved me thousands of dollars. Give them a shot you'll be happy you did.

Mitchell,
Thanks so much for the review. This is a comment we hear constantly. Upgrading your printer is a much more cost effective option than buying a whole new printer. If you are unsure what is required for this upgrade you can either check our interface guides, or feel free to call anytime(M-F 9am-4:30pm EST) and we can step you through the process. All you will need is a screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time. Our help is free to all Hillside Electronics customers.
